When I saw this 2012 challenge I knew I had to sign up for it. I have never read much contemporary YA before - I tended to stick to Fantasy or Historical, but after reading some fantastic books this year, all recommended to me by other bloggers, it has become one of my favourite genres.
My list has quite a few books on (25 so far) — which is why I’m going for Level 3, but all of these were already on my wishlist. They are also pretty evenly spread out over the year which is helpful as well.
Levels:
Level 1: 5+ books
Level 2: 10+ books
Level 3: 15+ books
Rules:
You can read any contemporary YA novel that is published between January 1, 2012 and December 30, 2012 but you must read them in 2012! (All formats accepted: paperback, ARC, e-book)
