One Year Blogoversary Winner!

Congratulations Lori!

Thank you to everyone who entered and an extra thank you to those who left a bit of feedback about the site, especially since all of it was so nice lol!

Things people mentioned:

‘I enjoy what I read here, am infrequent visitor via twitter.’

‘I think what I love most about your blog is your honest reviews.’

‘I like your book reviews but would love to see more kids book reviews :)’

‘Everything is perfect as it is! you have a fab blog with great posts! :)’

‘I like your reviews. They are honest & useful.’

‘As I mentioned in my comment, I really like the cover corner posts, it’s really interesting to hear about the design and illustrations of book covers.’

‘Maybe review more bestsellers? It’s nice to see some obscure titles, but there’s a lot of big names on the market right now that I know people are on the fence about reading.’

‘I actually really like your use of white space. It is refreshing since a lot of blogs have so many graphics going on, you can hardly read the text!’

‘Well, I love your blog just the way it is! <3 :) Content is perfect, and your design is gorgeous.’

‘I love that your post title includes the amount of comments on the post. I want one! XD

‘I love your blog, great reviews:)’

I’m definitely aiming to review more kid’s books (which I know I keep promising to do) and it’s brilliant to here that people find the reviews helpful and enjoyable!

And I hear ya on the bestsellers — the trouble is getting hold of them sometimes. My local library isn’t very well stocked, and the majority of the books I review on here are ones I have bought myself,  a lot of those are books I’ve come across and have had recommended to me from other sites, including Goodreads, so they aren’t always the ones that are ‘in’ right now or hot new releases, but it’s definitely something to consider when choosing what books to review in the future!
