In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren and inspired by Alea @ Pop Culture Junkie
Despite not actually spending any money, I’ve had quite a decent IMM this week. I managed to find a few titles at the library I’ve wanted for a while (which was a nice surprise – my library isn’t usually that well stocked) and I also grabbed an e-book from NetGalley.
Library
Dragonfly by Julia Golding
I heard about this one on another blog, where is got a nice review. It’s a fantasy/romance with a period feel and I always love those, so I snatched it up. Review to come.
Fallen Grace by Mary Hooper
I’m late to this I know. Fallen Grace was all over the blogosphere a while back and Mary Hooper is a very poplar YA author of historical fiction (another favorite genre). I haven’t really clicked with her other two books I have read, but this one does sound very good and I can’t wait to see if I’ve found my Mary Hooper book.
Forgotten by Cat Patrick
Another popular title – I was very excited to see this at my local library – I’ve been considering buying it for a while now, as its had many great reviews. The cover is awkward though – I’m interested to know whether the concept/design is explained in the book!
Tempest Rising by Tracy Deebs
Another mermaid book. I can’t say I’m generally a ‘mermaid’ fan, but this does sound like a good romance and the reviews I’ve read have captured my attention.
NetGalley
Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley
This one is on my ‘Not Out Yet But Must Buy ASAP’ list (yes – that’s a real list on my Amazon account) because I read a review that couldn’t praise it enough and it’s Goodreads page is just all sparkly with 4 and 5 star reviews. So I was all happy when I saw it on NetGalley, better yet with no need for publisher approval – you can just download it immediately. So that’s what I did.
What’s in your IMM this week?
