In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren and inspired by Alea @ Pop Culture Junkie
I’ve had a pretty amazing mailbox again this week (and I didn’t even buy anything!). Templar has very generously sent me through a load of books from their new 2012 catalogue to review! I’m very excited because some, frankly, look brilliant!
For Review
Pendragon Legacy: Sword of Light by Katherine Roberts
King Arthur! A secret daughter! Mordred! MERLIN! Yes please! I love the original story and love all the various re-tellings as well.
Fins are Forever by Tera Lynn Childs
I enjoyed the first book of this series more than I thought I would so I snapped up the chance to read the next book in the series.
India Dark by Kirsty Murrey
This just sounds like a beautiful book, it’s about a children’s theatre company on tour in Asia. I was completely drawn in by the cover in Templar’s catalogue which is just gorgeous.
Beat the Band by Don Calame
I hear nothing but great things about Swim the Fly, the first book in this series, so I cannot wait to read both of them together. I also tend to really enjoy YA books from a young boy, or guy’s perspective.
Arcadia Awakens by Kai Meyer
The dark synopsis made me want to read this one, ‘hidden caves, dangerous beasts roaming the hills, and a history of familial bloodlust’, sounds intriguing, plus I loved the image on the panther on the cover.
Library
Prisoner of the Inquisition by Theresa Breslin
I can’t get enough historical fiction and this one has been on my radar for quite a while now. Also, the red dress is gorgeous!
NetGalley
Saving June by Hannah Harrington
Another book that has been on a lot of blogs lately, and all with stunning reviews, so I was really excited to see it on NetGalley! Another one I can’t wait to read!
