Her Con­fes­sions of Geor­gia Nicol­son are actu­ally laugh-out-loud funny, so I felt com­pelled to pick this new book up and see whether it lives up to it’s predecessors.

Heroes of the Val­ley by Jonathan Stroud

If you haven’t read them yet then you really need to check out Stroud’s fan­tas­tic Bar­ti­maeus series — some my favourite books ever! So of course I had to even­tu­ally pick up his first book in a new series — plus the cover has this cool King Arthur vibe thing going on.
