Liesl & Po has finally been released here, and while I haven’t gotten hold of a copy yet myself, (though I’m sure it wont be long before I do) I’ve heard some lovely things about it, in particular the artwork.
As you know, I love a book with artwork and if this trailer is anything to go by, the book itself is going to be just as beautiful to own. Im a big fan of Before I Die by Lauren Oliver and enjoyed Delirium, so I can’t wait to read this. I find her writing to be quite lyrical and this trailer seems to reflect that, with some gorgeous, traditional animation and music that has a soft, haunting quality to it. Liesl & Po looks to be a great, heartwarming children’s adventure.
